I purchased a Leica M6 camera a few months ago.
I have designated it THE camera to film my from there to here series charting the people + places in the last 40 years of my life who have had a major impact on shaping me.
I will be working on it over the course of the next two years.
I give my personal projects breathing room, and grace in this case, to myself, to master the new camera.
It's manual focus. Crazy manual focus where you look into the viewfinder and see a split screen in the middle. When you make the two rectangles overlap images, you have perfect focus.
Tough. But a beautiful learning curve... and helps me practice the art of patience.
