It was a weekday mini shoot with two sisters I have filmed since the youngest was crawling.
I was greeted with giggles, laughter, and quick spins in their dresses... AND the promise of them showing me the most awesome tree house their Daddy built (in like, 3 weekends nonetheless).
Mom had a request to get some 'loose' portraits this time as their faces were changing, baby teeth were soon to fall out and the baby fat would soon become history.
Though I really adore lifestyle/documentary, I also appreciate the beauty of a simple portrait.
When I do portraits, I just snap them as I talk and hang out with them.
It's looser and you can get way more personality out of them.
Engage them, and they will engage the camera.
Once I was done with each of the sisters, we explored the tree house...
And that? Simply, rad.
